It was a fairytale wedding for Kelly and Dayyan in the mystical parklands of Mc Carrs Creek Reserve, Church Point. They had a bridal party of 5 each and included some Bahai traditions in the script. Their pet “Ambrosius” had a starring role in the bridal processional down the aisle. The band set the scene by singing an Angus & Julia Stone song “Big Jet Plane”…a song whose lyrics symbolised a turning point in the early days of their ‘courtship’.
They tied the knot under a beautiful big old fig tree and had Ambrosius present the wedding rings to them. He was such a good boy!
The ceremony finished off with an enthusiastic recessional down the aisle and a photoshoot around the northern beaches.

Pip and Duncan had made plans to marry outdoors on one of the historic piers at Walsh Bay, but the rainy weather forced them undercover to host their ceremony at their reception venue – the very swish “Simmer on the Bay” also at Walsh Bay. In the end it was an absolutely gorgeous wedding ceremony and thoroughly enjoyed by Pip and Duncan, and all their guests!
These next images need a little explanation…Pip had just placed Duncan’s ring on his finger and Duncan took a moment to admire it… We all laughed!

The rain hampered no spirits as there was definitely a party atmosphere amongst all who attended, with lots of laughter and even a boogie recessional down the aisle by Pip and Duncan to get the part officially started.
Hamish you rocked as the wedding ceremony DJ! Thank you for your help!

Katie and Justin enjoyed an absolutely stunning afternoon wedding by the harbour at Bradleys Head amphitheatre.
The clouds did eventually form together to put on a magnificent lightening display whilst everyone was enjoying celebratory drinks afterwards. Thankfully the rain stayed away!
I love this image of the bubbles blown by the boys and heart shape made by the little girl sent directly to Katie and Justin just after we finished the ceremony. Soo sweet!

Jess and Bren were married at Jubilee Park in Glebe under a beautiful big old fig tree on the most a-mazing autumn day! It was an uncomplicated yet meaningful ceremony with Jess’ brother Rob delivering a most entertaining reading “The Owl and the Pussycat” by Edward Lear. Sarah from Girl Friday Weddings supplied awesome behind the scenes support and co-ordination of the day! Thank you Jonas Peterson and James Lennox for your talent in capturing the moment!
My favourite image of Jess & Bren… Just soo devine!

Tom and Katie planned their gorgeous wedding ceremony through Fiona at Couture Wedding Planning, from their place of residence in Dubai! We managed to meet up together a couple of times in Sydney before the ceremony, including at a rehearsal onsight, and I just knew… theirs was going to be a sensational day!
Here’s just a taste of how it all looked, shared with us by Infinity Photography:
So much colour… blues, mauves, purples. Really fresh and vibrant, captured beautifully with Sydney Harbour as the perfect back drop. A lovely afternoon in the sun by the sea!
For more detail on their amazing wedding day, check out Tom & Katie’s wedding spread which features in the current issue of Bride To Be magazine. Thank you Infinity Photography for sharing!

The ever beautiful Katie and Ross invited me to marry them in their home town of Adelaide… (Katie is a very special nursing friend of mine who happened to introduce me to my gorgeous husband!) so, I followed my sense of adventure, and to Adelaide I flew! Lucky me enjoyed an upgrade to a convertible on my hire car at the airport, so scooting around Adelaide topless was a bonus!
Ross and Katie chose to be married in the scenic Adelaide Hills winery region at the illustrious and very posh Silvestris Restaurant, – with the ceremony being hosted in the manicured gardens, and the reception at the stunning restaurant onsite. They had their lovely children with them, being the bridal party, sharing beautiful readings as well as offering up the wedding rings to Katie and Ross.
We signed the paperwork under an elegant gazebo and had more photographs in the magnificent gardens.
I so wished I could have stayed longer, but sadly had a plane to catch that afternoon! Thanks so much Katie and Ross for inviting me to your awesome wedding day… I wouldn’t have missed it for the world!! xx

What a cold and windy, but thankfully (!) sunny October day, it turned out to be for Melissa and Ben’s wedding day on the escarpment of the picturesque Salmon Hall Reserve at Cronulla! Despite the forces of nature, what a lovely ceremony it turned out to be!
Fresh splashes of orange, purple, mauve and yellow tickled our senses and helped us remember this was spring time!

Lauren and Pete hosted their gorgeously bright and bold spring time wedding ceremony in the carefully manicured gardens of Curzon Hall. They choose a delicious bridal theme colour hard to put a name to but stunning to see…
They included special people in their ceremony with biblical readings and included a sand blending ritual to symbolise their union. A butterfly release was a finale at the end – and yes it was a successful one! There were many traditional elements including a giving away of the bride, religious readings, a formal processional and recessional, and the best man together with maid of honour acting as witnesses. A string trio added to the beautiful serenity of the gardens. Guests doused Lauren and Pete in fresh brightly coloured rose petals as they recessed down the aisle.
Lauren and Pete enjoyed a champagne toast with guests before ducking off for photos, followed by their reception at Dedes in Drummoyne.
