Welcome!

Welcome one and all to my first ever blog entry for the new look Letscelebrant website!

Thought I might kick things off by sharing a short story about Bianca & Pete’s stunning wedding ceremony I officiated at yesterday.

Just to fill you in on some background detail, Bianca and Pete have a passion for the arts, so chose to host their wedding ceremony and reception in the prominent performing arts and cultural precinct of Sydney… The Wharf Restaurant, Pier 4 at Walsh Bay. A very stylish and classy venue located at the very end of Pier 4 (Sydney Theatre Company), looking directly out towards Goat Island and the Sydney Harbour Bridge… 180 degree uninterrupted views of Sydney Harbour!

The restaurant has been beautifully renovated retaining its industrial rafters and timber flooring, but with all the mod cons we all have come to love (& expect!). The wedding ceremony itself was held on the alfresco balcony with all of Bianca and Pete’s very special guests gathered round for an informal, relaxed ambience. They all celebrated into the night in the central dining room, enjoying amazing modern Australian delights and dancing afterwards to Angelo’s DJ mixes. The wedding cake was a yummy profiterole tower and the guests were each given a personalised linen serviette for bonbonniere. There were lots of beautiful fresh flowers and tea light candles around. The scene at night would have been devine!

I had a gorgeous afternoon with Bianca, Pete and their guests, and can definitely recommend the Wharf Restaurant as a relaxed, romantic and sophisticated venue for a wedding or even a pre-show dinner. You can find them at: www.wharfrestaurant.com.au.

Here’s some of what Pete sms’d to me today…

“Hi Tracey, it’s Mr & Mrs [...]. We just thought we’d text to say thank you very much for your excellent job yesterday. I especially would like to thank you for your calmness just before Bianca arrived…Many people commented on how beautiful the ceremony was. The rest of the evening went spectacularly well and everyone had a great time. We’ll be sure to leave a shining testimony on you website. Thanks again!

Hope you liked my story about Bianca and Pete.

  1. Hey Tracey! Love the new website, so easy to understand. Great to see you have started a blog too, although I don’t know where you find the time! Looking forward to reading more about your adventures as a busy celebrant, Jess x

  2. Hi Tracey

…I just visited the new look and it’s fantastic! I love the new design! The style and colours give a real point of difference compared to other celebrant websites around, and the bird in boots is SO CUTE!! Plus you’re now keeping a blog! How do you find the time?! I felt extra special seeing that our wedding was the first entry.

Bianca and I wanted to send our sincere gratitude for the excellent ceremony you conducted. We couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant and professional celebrant. From the initial meeting to the actual ceremony, you were so easy to work with, taking any potentially stressful tasks and transforming them into simple procedures. Also having so many variations in the ceremonial format meant we could customise exactly what we liked and have the ceremony we always wanted.

We’d be delighted to pass on your details to anyone we know who may need your services in the future.

    Thank you very much!
    Peter
